Before you volunteer, please understand the responsibility of chaperoning. This is a volunteer experience. You must be available to attend the whole trip. (January 26 - 31). It is a physically demanding but completely rewarding experience! Chaperone days start around 6:30 am. and go until 9:30 or 10:00 p.m. You should expect to be outside all week in any weather, and be physically able to hike up to 5-7 miles per day. You will not be placed in a hiking group with your own child, and may not see your own child more than once or twice during the trip.

You will need to have fingerprint and TB clearance which incurs a minimal cost at your expense. With this in mind, we are happy to have as many parents on the trip as we are able to accommodate! Thanks for stepping up! The deadline to fill out the chaperone interest form is October 18.
