Disneyland

The Lawson Middle School Advanced Band, Chamber Orchestra and Advanced Choir have the opportunity to participate in the Disneyland Workshop and perform on the Disney stage each year. This trip not only enhances our students' musical experience but also nurtures many life long learning skills. These groups are by audition only.

Advanced Band, Choir,  and Chamber Orchestra will be traveling to Anaheim, CA to perform and workshop in the Disneyland theme parks. We will be traveling Thursday, March 12, 2026 through Sunday, March 15, 2026.  

The participation, permission form, payment are due on November 14, 2025. If you are interested in Chaperoning, you can make your interests known on that form. All chaperones must be finger printed and have a current TB test submitted to the Lawson Middle School front office by December 19, 2025. Here are the CUSD chaperone requirements. 

A sample itinerary is available below and a current itinerary will follow in February. Disney does not release performance times until 30 days prior to the performance; the time must be coordinated with ALL the other performances in the park.
