Golden State Youth Orchestra

The Lawson Middle School Beginning Band and Beginning Strings will attend the performance of the Golden State Youth Orchestra at the California Theater. This is an opportunity for students to attend and experience a classical music performance with performers in their age group. The program is a student friendly program featuring The Nutcracker and the Lion King Suite.

Disneyland

The Lawson Middle School Advanced Band, Chamber Orchestra and Advanced Choir have the opportunity to participate in the Disney Performing Arts program where they participate in a recording workshop and perform on the Disney stage. This trip not only enhances our students' musical experience but also nurtures many life long learning skills. These groups are by audition only. Great America

The Lawson Middle School Intermediate Band, Intermediate Orchestra and Beginning Choir participate in a music workshop with a guest clinician for professional, constructive feedback, followed by a fun day at Great America. More information can be found on the Great America page.
