Summary Statement
This is a self-directed research mat for second through fifth grade depending on student understanding and ability. This should be used once students have had some introductory experience with Artificial Intelligence such as those lessons in Artifact 1 and 2.
Students can explore a podcast, a website, a video, and interact with AI, then share their learning as well as questions they still want to explore.
Goal: Students will add to their understanding of Artificial Intelligence and create a question they would still like to answer in later explorations.
Standards:
ISTE Student 1a: Students articulate and set personal learning goals, develop strategies leveraging technology to achieve them and reflect on the learning process itself to improve learning outcomes.
ISTE Student 3d: Students build knowledge by actively exploring real-world issues and problems, developing ideas and theories and pursuing answers and solutions.
