Now, we know we’re a little late, as it is November when this is published, but this movie is timeless. If you don’t know, Hocus Pocus was made in the early 90’s and it is about the story of three kids who have to fight against three witches after resurrecting them from the dead. This movie is full of laughs, jokes, and Halloween themes and traditions. All in all, the movie is kid friendly and directed towards younger kids and teens. But anyone can enjoy it! The film portrays themes of the importance of friendship and teamwork, and having someone to trust and lean on. In the end, everything works out and all their problems were resolved, calling for a happy ending, which they very well deserved.
The Beatles made many great albums, but this one of the most influential albums of all time in my opinion. This album has some of the best songs like "She’s Leaving Home" and "When I’m Sixty-Four."
1. "Sgt. pepper’s lonely hearts club band" The first song is like an introduction to story. It draws you in and you want to listen to more.
2. "With a little help from my friends" This is a little upbeat tune that is just great all around
3. "Lucy in the sky with diamonds" Its starts slowly, but it goes into a great upbeat chorus. After, it goes right back to the slow part. It is a great song to listen to at any time.
4. "Getting better" With this it goes right back to that upbeat tune. This song is just so hard not to sing along to.
5. "Fixing a hole" A great song to listen to at any time. Just a great song.
6. "She leaving home" This is like listening to a great folktale.
7. "Being for the benefit of Mr. Kite!" A slow song that just makes you want to sing along. It's also like being in a circus
8. "Within you, Without you" The beginning is great and has a great African sound.
9. "When I’m sixty-four" A great slow but complicated song with some great parts. The middle section is the best with the slow piano. The great voices of the Beatles make a great song
10. "Lovely Rita" This upbeat song just makes you want to get sing and dance to
11. "Good morning good morning" This is the most joyful song I've ever heard and has a great chorus.
12. Sgt.pepper lonely hearts club band (reprise) This is the best song to end, but there's still one song left. The reprise is better than one at the beginning
13. "A day in the life" The guitar is great with the piano and the John's monotone voice is haunting.
