Ranks

Cub Scouting is for girls and boys in the first through fifth grades, or 7 to 10 years of age. Scouts who are older than 10, or who have completed the fifth grade, can no longer join Cub Scouting, but they may be eligible to join the Scouts BSA or a Venturing program.

No matter what age or grade a boy or girl joins Cub Scouting, they must earn their Bobcat badge before they can be awarded the rank of Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear or Webelos. Click here for more information.
