We have develop three 70-minutes lesson plans. These plans will introduce transportation engineering safety design concepts and include a memorable active component! We will calculate stopping sight distance with toy cars, identifying cones of visions in different scenarios, and experiencing sidewalk navigation in a wheelchair. Each lesson includes lecture material, a calculation examples, and two activities that simplify STEM traffic engineering topics and labs taught in university-level courses. Looking for a shorter or longer lesson? Reach out to Dr. K and we can develop a new plan!
Resources will be updated here by the end of summer 2025.
