Around 50 students from various departments participated in this drive. The students cooked food at their homes and fed the stray animals.
The objective of this drive was to feed the stray animals as their health deteriorated due to starvation. Most of the time, they do not get enough food to eat, and hence most of them are malnourished. Through this drive, the students learned that these strays are easy to handle and only require love when they are sick or injured.
Around 40 dogs around the areas of Perambur, Moolakadai, Ayanavaram, Kolathur, Kumaran Nagar, and Kodungaiyur, were provided with healthy food.
