On 28-04-2022 , The Department of Hindi of Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth College for Women paid tribute to National Poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar to Commemorate his 48th Death Anniversary. On this occasion Poetry recitation competition on ‘Conscious Poems of Ramdhari Singh Dinkar’ was conducted. Students expressively recited various poems.

To Commemorate the 115th Birth Anniversary of Mahadevi Verma, The Department of Hindi conducted a powerpoint presentation activity on ‘ महादेवी वर्मा की साहित्यिक कृतियाँ’ , ‘ Literary works of Mahadevi Verma ‘ on 27-03-2022 through virtual mode from 6.00 p.m to 7.00 p.m.

To Commemorate the World Hindi Day , the Department of Hindi of Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth College For Women had conducted a One Day International E-Conference on ‘ Global Form of Hindi with refernce to China.’ Mr. Vivek Mani Tripathi , Assistant Professor ( Hindi ) , Department of South Asian Languages & Cultures Guangdong University of Foreign Studies , China was the Chief Guest for the day.
The speaker Mr. Vivek Mani spoke about the importance of Hindi in China. He also highlighted the usage of Hindi in the field of teaching, Research, employability, Translation & its benefits.

Department of Languages arranged for a Christmas Festival on 18-12-2021 and Ms.Chandini of II B.B.A delivered a speech on ‘Christmas Festival’ in Hindi.

On 02-11-2021, The Department of Hindi of Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth College for Women conducted a one Day National E-Conference. Professor Kumud Sharma, Head, Department of Hindi from Delhi University was the Chief Guest for the day. There were total of 85 participants in the event.
Professor Kumud Sharma spoke about the various renowned women writers like Nasira Sharma, Krishna Sobti, Mridula Garg etc. & their influence on literature. She also highlighted the western writers for Feminism.

The Department of Hindi of Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth College For Women celebrated the 75th Independence Day with Patriotic fervour. On this occasion, a One day Seminar was organised on ‘One Evening in the name of Martyrs ‘ 'ek sham shahedo key naam ‘ on 23-07-21 from 5.00 p.m to 6.00 p.m through Google Meet. The following students were the winners of the PPT Presentation.

To Commemorate the 141th Birth Anniversary of 'the King of Novelist' Munshi Premchand, Department of Hindi had conducted an One Day National Webinar on ' The Portrayal of Humanism in Premchand's Novelette 'Hindi katha sahitya mein maanviya sambhandh ' on 31-7-2021 from 3.00 p. m to 4.00 p. m through google meet.
Dr. Swati Paliwal, Head, Department of Hindi , Dean School of Languages, Guru Nanak College was the Chief Guest for the day. The Chief Guest Dr. Swati Paliwal quoted various aspects of the novelist's life from the biography of Munshi Premchand & highlighted various achievements through his creative writings in stories & Novels. She shared her perspectives on famous stories like ' kafan',' baday ghar ki beti ', badey bhai sahab 'Panchparmeshwar' & ghaas waali '. & famous novels like ' ' gabhan ', 'Sevasadan ' & ' Nirmala'. It was an interactive session and the students were enthusiastic in their responses.
