The Eco Conservation Club of Chevalier T.Thomas Elizabeth College for Women in collaboration with Bhumii Trust inaugurated the CTTE Greenery on August 9, 2023, in the presence of our Managing Trustee and Correspondent Thiru L.Palamalai, I.A.S (Retd), Principal Dr. S. Sridevi and Sri D. Gnanasuria Bahavan, Founder cum Chairman, Bhumii Trust.
Our Correspondent inaugurated the tree-planting ceremony by cutting the ribbon and planting a sapling.
Objective:
The objective of the tree-planting activity is, to have an eco-friendly environment
to enhance tree cover on campus
to sensitize students on the importance of trees.

On account of World Environment Day, the Eco club organized an Awareness Program on the College campus with the EVS student coordinators by giving plants to parents and visitors who came to the College on 5 June 2023. This activity stressed the importance of preserving our natural resources among students and the community.
