Name of the Event: Global Recycle Day Seminar

Report: 

A seminar on 'Solid Waste Management' was organized on March 18, 2021. Mr. Barani, Assistant Manager, and Mr. Jai Sabari Balaji, Deputy Manager, Enviro Solutions Private Limited were the resource persons. The seminar ignited knowledge about the segregation of waste and the harmful impact of non-segregated waste on the environment 

Name of the Event: Seminar on Women's Role in Agriculture

The eco club organized a seminar on the topic, "Women's role in agriculture" on Women’s Day. Mr. R. Chandraprabhu, Farmer Producer Group, Chairman ( FPG)  was the resource person for the above topic. He shared his innovative ideas on terrace planting, and marketing of plants and explained about different plants and their lifespan. There was an interactive question and answer session following the presentation.  

Name of the Event: World Paper Exchange

As per the MOU formed on 06.08.2018 with ITC, 1187 kilograms of waste Paper from office and departments were exchanged for 51 reams at the rate of Rs 8 per kilogram on 29.01.2021.

Report:           

E-Quiz on Environmental Connection was conducted from 10/01/2021 to 12/01/2021. This quiz helped the participants to understand more about ecology and nature conservation.

Name of the Event: World Calamity Day E-Quiz

Report:           

E-Quiz about World Calamity Day was conducted by Eco Club on October 13, 2020. E-Quiz was based on the natural disaster and its causes, precautions, and smart actions to overcome the disaster. Around 321 participants attended the E-Quiz and E-certificates were issued to participants who scored above 60%.

Eco Club conducted an E-Quiz on World Ozone Day, September 16, 2020. 349 students participated all over Tamil Nadu. E-Quiz focused on enhancing the student's knowledge of the ozone layer, ways to protect the ozone layer, and alternative applications to reduce pollution.

Eco Club conducted an E-Quiz on June 05, 2020, World Environment Day. 542 students participated from all over Tamil Nadu. E-Quiz focused on creating awareness of 'Time for Nature' by making the participants realize conserving nature is the need of the hour.
