Day 1: 04.04.2022

Topic: Mobile Phone Addiction

The mobile phone addiction and its causes were explained and the video about the effects of mobile phone addiction was also shown. Some games related to Computer Science were conducted along with some fun games.

Day 2: 05.04.2022

Topic: Computer Shortcut keys - Explained

The shortcut keys which are used in the computer were explained and some games were also conducted for the students.

Day 3: 06.04.2022

Topic: Advanced technologies and their uses.

A seminar on advanced technologies in the future and their uses was presented. Computer related games and Word quiz and memory games were conducted. Snacks were provided to all the students.

Day 6: 09.04.2022

Description:

Each child was encouraged to show their special talent. The children were asked to share their thoughts on any topic of their choice. Lunch and stationery items were provided to all the students.

Day 7: 11.04.2022

Names: Sangeetha.E , Shamrock Christina Vanspall

The last day was allotted for conducting fun games for the children. The children were divided into groups for active participation. At the end prizes were distributed to the winners.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT- KAASHIV INFOTECH

The main objective of this Industrial Visit was to give practical exposure to the students of II B.Sc. Computer Science and to make them understand the current trends of the IT industry requirements. This Industrial visit gave knowledge to the students about IoT technology and its importance in the industry in detail.

The Tactio Club of the Department of Computer Science conducted a one day Seminar on Machine Learning in J.J.K. Auditorium. More than 100 students attended the seminar. The main aim of this seminar was to enhance the students' practical knowledge in the latest trends in machine learning. The resource person discussed the algorithm and application of machine learning. The session was interactive and the students gained knowledge on machine learning with real time examples.

WORKSHOP ON WEB DEVELOPMENT USING NODE JS

DATE: 18.9.2021 & 19.9.2021

The Tactio Club of the Department of Computer Science organized a 2-day workshop on 18.9.2021 & 19.9.2021 on the topic-Web Development using node JS. The main aim of this workshop was to enhance the students' knowledge of the latest trend in the IT field. The resource person for the workshop was an alumna of our department Ms. Padmapriya, working in Accenture India Pvt Ltd. Around 50 Students from II and III years joined interestingly and learned about node JS in web development.

The Artificial Intelligence Club was inaugurated through Gmeet on 16.09.2021 at 10 AM. The Vice Principal, Dr. R. Meenakshi was the guest of honour.

The Club President Dr. C. Lalitha detailed the functioning of the Club. Dr. R. Meenakshi encouraged the students to focus on Artificial Intelligence as it was a rapidly developing field and would provide good employment in the future. An expert talk on Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning was given by the Head of the Department Mrs. J. Mary Catherine. P.Nandhini - II B.Sc.(CS), the Joint Secretary of Artificial Intelligence Club explained the certificate courses. The AI Club Coordinator S.Keerthika -II B.Sc.(CS) proposed the vote of thanks.
