Dear CTMS Families,
With the school year wrapping up, we still have many events happening in the last few days of the school year. The official end of the fourth marking period is June 12th, with teachers finalizing grades on June 17th. Be sure to have a look in PowerSchool with your child to ensure all assignments are completed and submitted. Additionally, for our incoming 7th and 8th grade students, you should have received the course selection Google Form. Please submit this by Friday, June 14th.
As we enter the warmth and freedom of summer, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each member of our school community. This past year has been a remarkable journey filled with learning, growth, and countless memories.
Our students have demonstrated resilience and perseverance, excelling in both academic and extracurricular activities. Whether it was acing academics, participating in sports, or showcasing talents in the arts, each achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of our students, supported by the unwavering commitment of our parents and staff. For that, we thank you.
Kind Regards.

Below are photos of Mr. Rudolph's 6th grade Science students tending to our courtyard gardens while gaining hands-on botanical experiences.
The children pictured serve as model CTMS students. Their citizenship, dedication and selfless attitudes are truly special to see in action on a daily basis. Although they will say that they do not need an award to do the right thing, we want to honor them anyway.
Kindness, it’s not so random anymore!

THANK YOU to our CTMS Green Team for all your work this year in making our school more environmentally friendly! In our district-wide efforts to gain New Jersey Sustainable Schools certification, the students have made strides in creating a culture of recycling! As part of the initiative, the Green team has partnered with the Grayrock Farm Sanctuary to reduce food waste by collecting produce and food scraps to feed the animals. YOU can be a part of this by supporting, or donating to the farm! Visit their website at Grayrock Farm Sanctuary Are you looking for a fun, local summer camp experience? Check out this great opportunity! Raven Rock summer camp at Grayrock Farm
Graduation tickets were sent home with students on June 5th.
From the CTMS Media Center - On June 17, librarians from the Hunterdon County Library will visit our 6th and 7th grade students for a presentation about the Summer Reading Program. All students can apply for a library card and there are many fun activities and events offered at the various library branches throughout the summer. Students are encouraged to develop their own reading preferences and summer is a great time for students to read what they choose. Please encourage your children to read this summer! - Kate Zaleski, CTMS Library Media Specialist
The way teens obtain working papers in New Jersey has changed!
As of June 1, 2023, Working Papers for minors have gone digital. Minor workers, their caregivers, and employers all fill out their respective parts of our streamlined online application instead of using the old paper form.
