NJ-GIVS: Governor's Industry Vocations Scholarship for Women & Minorities
Check with your local organizations in your hometown: Chambers of Commerce, Lions Club, Women's Club, Historical Societies, libraries, elementary PTO's, etc. Many local organizations offer small scholarships that can really add up!
National Scholarship Resources
Scholarship sites make it easy to get details on numerous scholarships all at once. Often you will register and create a profile about yourself and the site will email you with scholarships that meet your profile details. With many of these sites, you can also search for specific criteria or browse through awards in different categories. For example, you can search for NJ specific scholarships, scholarships based on a particular major, or combinations of multiple criteria.
Some of the sites also allow you to apply for the scholarships awards directly on their site, using your profile information and/or filling out fields once for multiple awards, which can save you a lot of time
