Hello!  I'm excited to be starting my sixth year here at Conemaugh Township, and my sixteenth year teaching English! I earned my undergraduate teaching degree from The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and my graduate degree in Literature from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. 

A bit about me:

My husband and I have three boys, Gabe (14), Jake (12), and Luke (8). All of their activities including piano lessons, Boy Scouts, football, basketball, and baseball keep us very busy throughout the year.  I grew up in a military family and have lived in some cool places, including Hawaii. Because of that, I love to travel. One place I love to go is Washington D.C. Every year, there is a book festival in D.C. and I have met some pretty awesome people there.  Check out my page Mrs. Salem and Famous Authors to see a few pictures.
