About Technology & Engineering Education

My purpose as a Technology and Engineering teacher is to prepare students through co-curricular activities and STEM education for an ever changing world that presents unknown circumstances. In doing so, your children will become more “technologically literate.” Furthermore; it is my goal to develop student’s critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to become future leaders, in various and demanding career paths.

Students will acquire lifelong knowledge and skills in:

  • Problem solving
  • Critical Thinking
  • Creativity & Innovation
  • Design Processes
  • Decision Making
  • Research
  • Evaluation
  • Communication
  • Collaboration
  • Analyzing
  • Hands-On Knowledge Application

To achieve the goal of molding them as members of a more technologically literate society, it is important to use core principles/concepts from science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, otherwise known as "STEM." My Technology and Engineering classes at Conemaugh Township Area Middle School/High School are offered to students in grades 7 through 12.
