Hilltop Park Baseball Field Survey

Photoquadrats are taken with a 0.5m X 0.5m framer. Transects 1-7 consist of quadrats taken at 2m intervals along 30m transects within the baseball/sports field at Hilltop Park in Monterey, CA. Transects 8-10 are quadrats taken at 1m intervals along 15m transects within the adjacent picnic lawn (although are otherwise comparable, and can be combined with the first seven to give a larger sample size for the park's grassy areas). Transects were spaced approximately 5m apart to cover the respective lawn areas.
