◾ For the National Engineering Design Challenge (NEDC) - the only competition that has State and National competitions - only one team in each division (middle and high school) from the Region moves on to compete.This year both teams who moved on from the Northern Region came from the CSU East Bay MESA Center, which was an incredible accomplishment.
MESA DAY 2020
◾ CSU East Bay's MESA Center hosted more than 500 and middle school students and their advisors on our campus on March 7th, 2020. It was an amazing day that was made possible by more than 100 volunteers and staff who ensured that the competitions ran smoothly; students, teachers, and parents had engaging activities to participate in between competitions; and helped to foster an event that showcase innovation, collaboration, and support.
We are proud of all of the students who competed!
