Association for Computing Machinery Logo

Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)

Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is an international scientific and educational organization dedicated to advancing the art, science, engineering, and application of information technology, serving both professional and public interests by fostering the open interchange of information and by promoting the highest professional and ethical standards. The ACM at CSUF provides a continuing forum for the exchange of ideas and announcements for all the students on campus that share an interest in the diversified aspects of computing. Activities include field trips, programming contests, workshops, symposiums, games and tournaments.

Association for Computing Machinery - Women (ACM-W) supports, celebrates, and advocates for the full engagement, education, and opportunities of women in all aspects of the computing field. We endeavor to provide a wide range of programs and services to students and advance, in the larger community, the contributions of technical women students.

Offensive Security Society Logo

Offensive Security Society (OSS)

Offensive security is a proactive and adversarial approach to protecting computer systems, networks and individuals from attacks. Conventional security -- sometimes referred to as "defensive security" -- focuses on reactive measures, such as patching software and finding and fixing system vulnerabilities. In contrast, offensive security measures are focused on seeking out the perpetrators and in some cases attempting to disable or at least disrupt their operations.

Video Game Development Club (VGDC)

The Video Game Development Club (VGDC) is a student organization composed primarily of programmers, artists, and designers interested in pursuing a career in the multimedia and video game industry. The club provides members an opportunity to produce interactive video games with other students who share their passion for video game development. Members are provided many opportunities to meet with such employers by attending weekly video game industry networking events as well as monthly events hosted by the International Game Developers Association. The Video Game Development Club gives students the skills required to compete in the current job market and prepares them to be successful in their careers.

The purpose of this club is to organize meetings in order to to share knowledge and experience about Machine Learning. Also, we are planning to host events from the industry.

Developer Student Club Logo

Developer Student Club (DSC)

Developer Student Clubs (DSC) are university-based community groups for students interested in Google developer technologies. Students from all undergraduate or graduate programs with an interest in growing as a developer are welcome. By joining a DSC, students grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build solutions for local businesses and their community. DSC's aim to help bridge the gap between theory and practice for student developers.
