LEVEL III RE-ACCREDITATION

The College of Hospitality Management Lal-lo Campus has successfully attained LEVEL III RE-ACCREDITATION for its academic program, the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. This notable milestone follows the Third Survey Visit conducted by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. from October 16 to 18, 2023, during which the program was rigorously evaluated against recognized higher education quality standards, particularly in the areas of instruction, extension services, faculty development, and linkages and consortia.

This significant milestone, which underscores the institution’s steadfast commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and continuous institutional improvement.

Cagayan State University Lal-lo Campus has successfully attained Level III Re-Accreditation for two of its academic programs, the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management and the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, valid until August 2029.

The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. conducted its Third Survey Visit from October 16 to 18, 2023, during which both programs were evaluated for their compliance with higher education quality standards, particularly in the areas of instruction, extension, faculty development, and linkages and consortia.

The College of Hospitality Management of Cagayan State University successfully conducted the University-Wide Syllabi Enhancement Workshop at the CSU Lal-lo Community Outreach Center, led by University Dean Dr. Lianne T. Abuan with the participation of College Deans and faculty members from the five CHM campuses(Andrews, Gonza, Aparri, Sanchez Mira and Lal-lo). The workshop focused on reviewing and enhancing course syllabi to ensure alignment with the University's academic standards while strengthening collaboration among faculty members. The initiative reaffirmed the College's commitment to continuous curriculum improvement, academic excellence, and the delivery of quality hospitality education across all campuses.

COLLEGE PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

The college shall produce graduates who are:

Knowledgeable in applying fundamental concepts and principles in managing Hospitality Industry;

Competent in demonstrating managerial, entrepreneurial and technical skills in Hospitality Industry;
Capable in exhibiting highest ethical standards in their workplace as well as social and environmental responsibility.
