Greetings delegates! My name is Aadi Nashikkar. I am the Secretary-General of the CSS Model UN club and the director of this council. Below you will find a link to the Background Guide and your Country Assignments. I am excited to have you in my council, and if you have any questions, email me at anashikkar@css.org
Important note about council: In this modified crisis council, delegates will be presented with crises. Delegates may respond to crises through either individual directives or standard resolutions. There will NOT be any group directives.
Additionally, to account for slightly reduced numbers, ALL delegates will be allowed in voting procedure. This may change if there are many more late sign-ups, and this page will be updated to reflect this.
Assignments
Council Director Bio: My name is Aadi Nashikkar and I am currently a junior at CSS. As mentioned, I am the Secretary-General of the CSS Model UN club. I have been participating in Model UN since 8th grade, and my favorite conference that I have attended is FerMUN in Geneva, Switzerland. I hope to help make this council a great experience for everyone participating. COVID-19 was the very reason our club decided to take on the challenge of setting up an online conference — we wanted to fight apathy and make a contribution to helping those affected by COVID-19 — so it was fitting that we should have a crisis council discussing just that.
