Greetings delegates! My name is Madeline Kunstle, I am the Assistant Secretary General of the CSS Model UN club and also the head PO for this council. Below you will find a link to the Background Guide and your Country Assignments. I am so excited for this council and if you have any questions feel free to contact me: mkunstle@css.org.

In order to help out delegates, the extended deadline for position papers will be Friday, May 1st at 3 PM Mountain Time. Even if delegates do not complete a position paper, they need to individually email their director/PO saying they are participating. If they do not do so, we will not be able to respond to them with a link to the Zoom invite, and they will not be able to participate.

About the PO's:

Hello! My name is Madeline Kunstle, as previously stated I am the Assistant Secretary General of the Colorado Springs School Model UN club. I have been doing Model UN since 8th grade and I'm currently a Junior so 4 years. I have participated in many Model UN conferences including the Washington University conference in St.Louis, Missouri and the FerMUN conference in Geneva, Switzerland. This will be my third time as a Presiding Officer, previously I PO'ed at the joint Kent Denver/CSS conference for the Advanced Harry Potter council (which I also helped create) and last year at CSSMUN5. I love participating in Model UN because I enjoy debating and learning about global affairs. Some details about myself: History and Art are my favorite subjects, I have four pets, and I love performing, musically and theatrically. I am so excited for this conference and cannot wait to see how these debates will turn out!

Assistant Presiding Officer: Hi! My name is Allison Hastings-Wottowa, and I am the (now former) Secretary-General of the Denver Center for International Studies Model UN team. I've been doing MUN throughout all of four years of high school and have been competing in Advanced councils since my sophomore year, both in Colorado as well as in Canada and Denmark. I've also presided multiple times, and previously directed the council on the West Bank Separation Wall at last year's DCIS-East HS Conference. I'm very excited to see you all debate, best of luck!
