Begun by Christine Kuzia in 2018 with a production of "Mary Poppins Jr." the Youth Theater of the YWCA New Britain has grown dramatically over the past several years. Joined by Jason Ferrandino, Choral and Drama Director of New Britain High School in 2019, the program continued to grow until 2022 when it partnered with the Consolidated School District of New Britain to form a combined Summer Theater Program.

Surviving throught the COVID-19 Pandemic by way of a virtual Cabaret and an extremely small-scale production, the program is growing and we are looking forward to many more years of fantastic Theater for the young people of New Britain and beyond!!
