Welcome to another exciting school year! It is the mission of the Crestwood High School Counseling Department to encourage all students to reach their highest academic and personal potential through a comprehensive counseling program, which includes academic, social-emotional and college/career counseling.
Communication with students AND parents is key to academic success!
Additional information can also be found on the CHS Counseling Website
We encourage parents to use MiStar Parent Portal to monitor student academic progress. If you need assistance with your username or password, please visit Login Reminder.
The best part about being a counselor is working with students!
It is Mental Health Monday! Here is another tip from our Hegira Crestwood therapist: It is okay to say “no.” Sometimes “no” is the healthiest word that you can say. “No” protects your peace and “no” protects your boundaries. If you feel uncomfortable, if you feel unsafe, if you feel overwhelmed - it’s okay to say “no.”
Are you struggling with sadness, anxiety, or depression? Do you feel stressed or overwhelmed? Do you need a safe and confidential person to talk to? Good News! There is a licensed mental health therapist from Hegira Health on site at Crestwood High School 2 days per week, even through summer school. Please see your school counselor or Mrs. Berri in the library for more information.
