AFTER SCHOOL 

Outdoor Spaces

Zone 1: The basketball court and large playground on Mead Road are a part of City of Decatur's Mead Road Park.  If you choose to stay in this park after dismissal, please supervise your children during this open play time.

Zone 2: The field and swing set are part of Oakhurst Elementary playground, please closely monitor your children encourage kind and fair play.

Zone 3: The Outdoor Learning Spaces and Gardens are part of Oakhurst Elementary instructional spaces, please use these areas if you intend on facilitating structured, focused small group learning and remember:

• The school building is closed for cleaning & conferences, therefore there is no water fountain/bathroom access.

• The outdoor classroom, planting beds, fenced area containing compost bins are off limits for unaccompanied children.
