Hello, Welcome to our project citizen, Created only by middle schoolers from Raul H. Castro Academy Of Fine arts. This is an incredibly important project, now since it's all coming from middle schoolers who deeply care about the well being of others our tone should be sincere, supportive, and welcoming.
As middle schoolers we should already be aware of the damage suicide can affect people around. We specifically made this website to finally bring more spotlight to the consequences to untreated mental illnesses, Bullying, and ect. This website was built for a safe space for not just our peers but for anyone that is struggling trying to find some sense of comfort, a will to live, and remind them that their story isn't over yet. Whether you're here to find help for yourself or learn how to support a friend, we're glad that you're here. Let's continue to look our for each other even if its your neighbor, stranger, teen, kid, adult, or an elder it doesn't matter, we should all look out for one another.
Mental health matters and your voice does too. Us being middle schoolers we may not be experts but we are classmates who care. We are simply here to tell you that your well-being matter, your voice, opinions, and feelings are valid. We want this website to be more than its intended purpose. We want this to be a community or just even a safe space for people out there struggling and need a hand to hold onto. By talking openly about suicide and mental health, we are taking away the power of silence. We are showing our peers that it's okay to struggle and even better to ask for help, Together, we can make a change and make sure no one feels like they are fighting alone.
