The OSAC Scholarship Application provides current and future Oregon students one easy application to apply for multiple scholarships at one time. OSAC awards more than $10 million in scholarships annually through more than 600 scholarships.

The number and dollar amount of scholarships may vary from year to year. These are full scholarships with no repayment required, though they are presented in the hope that each recipient will remember the city of Coquille and its residents in future years in ways each deems appropriate. Scholarships are not limited to those seeking four year degrees. Students interested in all areas of career training are encouraged to apply. Each Scholarship is for one academic year. Also eligible are home‑school and on‑line graduates and GED holders sholarship.

The Zonta Club of the Coos Bay Area was chartered in 1953 and grants thousands of dollars in scholarships annually. Each scholarship is eligible to help cover tuition, fees, books, supplies, and if applicable, dormitory housing including a meal plan charged to a recipient’s account at any accredited college, university, or trade school within the United States.
In the 2022-2023 scholarship cycle we will be awarding $15,000. The scholarships/awards include:
Zonta Club of the Coos Bay Area Club Scholarship – Two for $3000 each
STEM Scholarships – One at $3000
Additional Scholarship Information
Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative has established a youth scholarship program to recognize and reward education, extracurricular participation and concern for community.
Up to six total awards of $1,000 will be granted to qualified candidates. Be a dependent of a member of Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative.
CCECF is offering up to six Luck of the Draw scholarships to graduating seniors who continue their education beyond high school.
Abby’s Closet is pleased to offer four scholarships, totaling $9,500, to graduating women attending high schools in Oregon or Washington, who will be entering any one of these schools in the fall:
· Trade School ($1,500)
· Community College ($2,000)
· 4-Year University or College ($3,000)
· Elaine A. Davis Memorial Scholarship for Healthcare Fields ($3,000) (Note: All applicants who will be studying for a career in a healthcare field will be considered for this scholarship.)

The PEO Sisterhood is an international women's organization with a primary focus on providing educational opportunities for female students worldwide. One or more scholarships with a base amount of $500 will be awarded.
Students may reapply for this scholarship during their junior and senior years of college.

At least one $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to individuals who are planning to pursue a Bachelor's degree in a natural science/environmental field.
Application Opens in the Spring
The Prefontaine Foundation is a one-time award of $2000 to a high school senior attending a Coos County high school who has participated in either cross country and/or track and field in high school, plan to attend a 2-year or 4-year college full time throughout the next school year, and have demonstrated exceptional dedication to the sport.

This year the Coos-Curry County Farm Bureau is offering two, $2000 scholarships to Coos and Curry County high school seniors preparing to enter an agricultural related field at a two year community college, or a four year college or university in Oregon.

The Al Forthan Memorial Scholarship is awarded to an Oregon high school senior from a family by alcohol or drug addition. One $10,000 scholarship will be awarded in 2023. It will be allocated in $2500 installments over four years.
