Manning High School Symphonic Band

At Manning High School, we pride ourselves on educating the entire student.  Not only do students enjoy participating in our marching band, but also our Symphonic Band.  The Manning High School Symphonic Band is comprised of students varying from grades 9-12.  Those ensembles are Beginner Band, Novice Band,  Intermediate Band and Advance band.  This band participates if South Carolina Band Director's Association Concert Performance Assessment formally known as Concert Festival.  The Symphonic Band has consistently received a rating of Excellent or Higher at this event each year.  Throughout the year, several collegiate, and well known directors in the SCBDA come to MHS and conduct Master Classes and clinics so that our students are able to grow as classical performers.
