Free breakfast and lunch will be served to all students registered in the K-7 summer school program.
Breakfast- 7:30am -8:00am
Lunch- 11:30 am -12:15 pm
Respect- Students need to demonstrate respect to others in all areas of the building.
Ownership- Student should take ownership for their learning and their mistakes.
Attitude- Students should maintain a positive attitude at all times.
Responsibility- Students should be prepared and ready to learn.
Safety- Students need to practice good safety practices throughout the school building.
The school is made of students and adults who are given the opportunity to work with and socialize with each other honestly, morally, and courteously. Mutual respect comes from interacting with other members of the school. Students earn and retain their privileges by demonstrating responsibility and consideration for others.
Actions with endanger, offend, or harass other will not be tolerated. Student behavior must not interfere with the right of another student to receive an education or with a teacher’s responsibility to perform his/her duties.
Violent or threatening behavior will not be tolerated.
APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR IS ESSENTIAL. All behavior shall be in accordance with the Campbell-Savona Central School District Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Policy. Violent and threatening behavior will be grounds for dismissal from the summer program.
Students being dropped off by a parents will enter at the main entrance of the school by the bus loop. All students must go directly to the cafeteria to meet their teachers. Parents should park in the visitor parking lot accessible from route 226.
At the conclusion of the school day, parents should park in the visitor parking lot, enter the building from the side cafeteria door, and must be signed out with your child’s summer school teacher.
Students and their parents have the primary responsibility for acceptable student dress and appearance. Teachers and all other summer school personnel should exemplify and reinforce acceptable student dress and help students develop an understanding of appropriate appearance in the school setting.
A student’s dress, grooming and appearance, including jewelry, make-up and nails, shall:
Students who violate the student dress code shall be required to modify their appearance by covering or removing the offending item and, if necessary or practical, replacing it with an acceptable item.
Daily attendance is expected during the summer program. If your child is absent for a total of three days, it may result in removal from the summer program. The space in the summer program is limited so it is important that your child is in attendance every day throughout the summer.
