Elementary Summer Program

GST BOCES Elementary Summer Program strives to:

• Provide students a literacy rich environment to help support growth in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
• Continue to foster student’s social and emotional well-being through interactions with peers.
• Create authentic learning opportunities that connects them to the real world through science, technology, mathematics, and engineering.
• Foster student’s retention of material learned throughout the previous school year.

Campbell Savona and GST BOCES have combined to offer your child an enriching summer program this summer! Your child will not only be able to keep up their academic skills learned this school year but they will be able to participate in fun and authentic learning experiences! They will have the opportunity to choose from multiple authentic learning units including learning about our surroundings, gardening, invention convention, STEM in sports, visits to the local public library, and much more!

The summer program will run Monday-Thursday starting on July 10, 2017 and ending on August 10^th, 2017. The day begins with a free breakfast from 7:30-8:00am in the Savona Elementary cafeteria. The program is in session from 8:00-11:30am and ends with free lunch from 11:30-12:00pm.
