Regional Summer School

Greater Southern Tier BOCES offers a six-week summer school program. Component schools may enroll students for a variety of courses in the core academic areas of math, English, science, social studies, a variety of other courses, Regents review classes, and Regents exams. Registration for any of the courses offered through GST BOCES Regional Summer School must be processed through your home school guidance office.

The summer school program is designed to enable students to gain the skills necessary to pass a course and gain credit towards graduation within the framework of the NYS Summer School requirements.

The summer school program at the Campbell-Savona campus is conducted for the following reasons:

1. To enable students to enrich their education through additional secondary school courses.

2. To enable students to make up work they failed during the regular school year.

3. To enable pupils of sufficient ability and maturity to complete a high school program in less than the normally required time.
