CONSTRUCTION IDENTITAIRE

La construction identitaire a pour but d’accompagner chaque élève dans son cheminement identitaire en développant son sens d’appartenance à la communauté catholique et à la communauté francophone en milieu minoritaire.  Le Csc Providence offre une programmation en construction identitaire qui permettent aux élèves, de la maternelle à la 12e année, de vivre des expériences enrichissantes issues d'un climat de confiance, d' une sécurité linguistique et d'un rapport positif avec la langue française.  Par l’entremise des grands événements rassembleurs, des célébrations de la parole, des messes, des activités pastorales et culturelles, des stages de leadership et des partenariats communautaires, les élèves et les membres du personnel vivent pleinement leur identité catholique tout en affichant leur fierté d’appartenance à la diversité francophone. 

The goal of identity building is to accompany each student on his or her identity journey by developing a sense of belonging to the Catholic community and to the French-speaking community in a minority setting.  Csc Providence offers identity-building programming that enables students from kindergarten to grade 12 to enjoy enriching experiences stemming from a climate of confidence, linguistic security and a positive relationship with the French language.  Through major unifying events, celebrations of the Word, Masses, pastoral and cultural activities, leadership training and community partnerships, students and staff live out their Catholic identity while demonstrating their pride in belonging to the diversity of the French-speaking world.
