Office Hours (sometimes abbreviated "OH") are a great place to get help on homework, clarification on concepts introduced in class, assistance with assignments, or meet other students.
Most office hours can be attended in-person or virtually; when you arrive, add yourself to the queue spreadsheet (you must be logged in using your @cs account) and indicate whether you are physically present or on the Zoom call. Due to UW policy regarding indoor congregation, if you are visiting office hours physically you must adhere to room capacity limits; you cannot "line up" outside the room. Please pay attention to the queue progress to know when you should return to the room.
"UW Time" is the local time in Seattle, which changes from PDT to PST on November 7th. We will hold office hours according to the below schedule starting on Mon, Oct 4 through Tue, Dec 14.
If you can't attend an office hour or need to discuss something privately, you can request a 1-on-1 with the staff. Please submit a request in advance (>2 days); it may take some time for us to respond and process your request. As you might expect, requests sent two hours before an assignment is due is unlikely to be fulfilled "in time".
