Housing

A few details on the Ocean Cove Motel:

• Only a block and a half from the boardwalk and in the heart of Virginia Beach

• The rooms are super clean and have been renovated in Spring 2018 with new flooring and paint

• The room layout is a bit unique but in general, since not all the rooms are the same, there will be 4-6 students per room (same gender). Each room will have its own bathroom

  • Your roommates will be assigned by the directors and will be notified before Summer Mission begins so you can coordinate with your roommates what to bring for the living area and/or kitchen.

• Hotel-style apartment rooms

• Each room (or in some cases, a pair of rooms) has a stocked kitchenette with a microwave, full-size refrigerator, stove-top, and oven

• Each room will have bunk beds, enough for each student

• The units are air-conditioned, but space will be tight

• You will need to bring bedding, a pillow, and towels

• We will have some parking on-site, but some participants will need to park on the neighborhood street (less than 2 blocks away). You will receive your parking assignment when you arrive
