Innovative ideas make ministry more 3E: more enjoyable, more effective, and easier (not more complicated).
3E ministry ideas from the fall 2024 semester:
A strategic 24-hour camping trip in the first month of school boosted attendance at Fall Retreat.
A team's new approach to student testimony training led to a rise in personal evangelism & decisions.
Student-made Soularium training videos boosted participation in evangelism.

Most 3E ideas fall into one of three categories:
Tweaks.
Transfers.
New Creations.
Tweaks are small, powerful adjustments to existing ministry practices; these are the most frequent type of innovation and are extremely important to overall ministry health.
Transfers are ideas found in other industries or fields that are then contextualized for ministry; these are moderately frequent and may be challenging to implement.
Creations are new, out-of-the-box ideas that often disrupt the status-quo; these are rare and hard to develop. Think of Soularium and Perspective Cards.
The value of all 3 types of innovations is not in how novel they are but how much they 3E our ministry to become more fruitful. Want to make your ministry more 3E? Try this 3E Reflection Tool.
