Recently, a team felt stuck in engaging student leaders effectively in evangelism. They trained with us, identified root issues, listened to their students, ideated. Ultimately they made a small, powerful tweak to their evangelism training. This past semester, every one of their 31 student leaders (multi campus team) shared their faith. They finally saw people come to faith! This is one of many success stories where innovation training applied at the right time yielded ministry fruit.
2 Tools for Empathy
Asking questions helps us uncover more about people, their motivations and their experiences. In this video Lorenna shares two questions that reveal deeper truths and inspire connection with those you serve.
Ask, Listen, Know
A team exercise that invites discussion around heritage and culture. Using the I Am From Cards you'll practice active listening skills while growing deeper connections with your team!
What people are saying:
"I learned things about my teammates I'd never known before; we work hard to listen well to students, but I realized it needs to start with the team."
Try one or more of these resources to help unlock better idea generation as you creatively address the ministry challenges in your context.

Brainstorm Bingo
The goal of brainstorming is always to push past the solutions you already know, to generate a volume of ideas, and access new perspectives. Try this fun way to increase your creative capacity.
Many of us love the excitement and potential that comes with new ideas. But we won’t experience the true benefit of these ideas unless we push past the fear of creation and make something. This often feels daunting — but building to learn can make it easier!
