What if students could come together and have a meaningful shared experience around fun activities and digging into Scripture? All with a view of internalizing the gospel so that they can more naturally, and authentically engage in spiritual conversations.
The Craftsman's House, a 3-week small group experience centered on the gospel, is primarily for the involved but unengaged student.
Each week students will explore a passage of Scripture and participate in a shared activity designed to engage both their hearts and minds around the meaning of the gospel. As your students deeply process aspects of the gospel in community with one another, gospel conversations will become more natural and authentic.
DESIGNED FOR GEN Z
Drawing from extensive research on Gen Z, this material honors the following discoveries about how Gen Z wants to learn and minister.
Students are weary of Scripture taken out of context. They want to learn and see for themselves.
Students want to have a meaningful activity to share with others, both to have time to internalize truths and/or to discover something about themselves, but also as a way to have shared experiences with others.
Students desire to have authentic conversations; they want to use their own words to explain gospel truth. And it's critical that they deeply believe what they are saying. When students haven't internalized and integrated widely held doctrine, and are asked to share, they feel fake. This is, for many students today, a showstopper.
