COURSE FORMAT

Courses are designed to create a learning environment where we study and learn from God's Word together. While there will be teaching from an instructor, there will also be interacting and discussing together God's Word and its application to the realities we face as leaders in our context. 

Regarding formats of these courses, they can be offered both in 'live' and 'virtual' formats.

Live formats would involved consecutive days of intensive study at a local venue where people commute to and from each day. A second live format option is the conference/retreat option which involves everyone living and studying together at a conference/retreat venue.  When possible, this option creates the best environment since it offers more opportunities for on-going discussion and mentoring opportunities.

Virtual courses are also available. One virtual format would be to complete the course over consecutive days on zoom. A second virtual option is the weekly format where for example, we could schedule 2 sessions per week and spread the course out over a few months. This second option allows for the opportunity to interact and apply the material at a slower pace.

Regarding the length of the sessions: if the sessions will be taught in English without translation, then each session requires 60 minutes. If translation will be use, then each session requires 90 minutes.
