A Message From Our Athletic Director

Welcome, T-Birds, to the 2022-2023 School Year!

Welcome to the interscholastic athletic programs at Mohave High School. I am impressed with the community and the support it gives to the athletic programs at Mohave High School. I am inspired by the booster club and the role it plays in providing our student athletes with resources when needed. For what I have observed so far, parental involvement in academics and athletics is a top priority in this community. To our community, I say congratulations for figuring out that parental involvement is key to student success.

Students, do not forget that academics are our number one priority. You must meet all academic requirements in order to participate in interscholastic activities. When you perform well in the classroom, you will carry the same tenacity and the will to win attitude to your sport of choice. You will develop a tough mental attitude that will overcome all obstacles that get in your way. You expect to win, and you must win, it comes down to this. If you expect to be the best, you will get it. If you expect the worst, you will get it. Your mental attitude determines the outcome you are after. That separates the winners from the losers, in sports and in life. Champions always say that if you expect to lose, you already have.

My young friends, the world is your oyster. You will get what you work for in school, in sports, and in life. Do not sell yourself short of what you are capable of achieving.

Let’s have a successful year in academic and interscholastic programs at Mohave High School.

Amanda Amann
