There are some large scholarship programs that students may want to consider. Most of these will be highly competitive because they are open nationally, but these are usually the large scholarships that are renewed for up to 4 years. These are an example of some our students have pursued in the past.

The Dell Scholars program is a scholarship and college completion program that nurtures and empowers students on their path to a college degree. Since starting the program in 2004, the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation has supported 5,000 scholars, including more than 2,000 college graduates.

The Cooke College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend and graduate from the nation's best four-year colleges and universities.

The Lockheed Martin Vocational scholarship awards 150 scholarships up to $5,000 each for students pursuing vocational training and/or degree programs in one of the following fields:
Advanced Manufacturing, Computer & Information Sciences, Engineering, Engineering Technologies, Mechanic & Repair Technologies
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund awards over 10,000 scholarships to students of Hispanic heritage who plan to enroll in a 4-year instutution after high school. Scholarships range from $500-$5000.
