Please note that I do leave all past scholarships for future Seniors. Most of these scholarships will renew. I will continue to update the monthly scholarships as the new cycle approaches but it is ideal to begin looking at some of the requirements and looking over deadlines.

Links Scholarship

The Greater Kansas City (MO) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is now accepting applications for the 2024 High School Scholarship Awards.To complete the application go to https://www.gkclinksinc.org/scholarship for the the Greater Kansas City

(MO) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated website and email the application and the

required supporting documents to gkclinksscholarship@gmail.com.

Students who are interested in applying for a high school scholarship must be of:

 African American descent

 Currently enrolled in a Kansas City metropolitan area high school

 Graduating senior who has completed their first semester

 Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 weighted scale

 NOT related to a member of the Links organization.

We ask that the supporting materials be submitted as one packet, rather than separate

Kona Ice Scholarship


* KC Kona Ice is pleased to announce the availability of a $1,000 scholarship for the third consecutive year. As a business, our commitment is to contribute to the betterment of Kansas City – making it a place to live, work, and play. We are seeking a student who harbors aspirations of initiating their own small business and recognizes the significance of giving back to their community. Please adhere to the following instructions when applying for the scholarship:


Submission Deadline: All applications must be submitted via email to konaicescholarship@gmail.com no later than April 1st.

Selection Notification: A successful applicant will be chosen by April 15th.

1. Outline your vision as an aspiring small business owner.
