Please note that I do leave all past scholarships for future Seniors. Most of these scholarships will renew. I will continue to update the monthly scholarships as the new cycle approaches but it is ideal to begin looking at some of the requirements and looking over deadlines.

Crossroads/ Kemper Scholarship
Overview:
In partnership with the Kemper Foundation, Crossroads Charter Schools and William Jewell College will annually award two Full-Ride scholarships (includes tuition, room & board, meal plan, and books) to Crossroads Preparatory Academy students. The awards will be for the published tuition for up to four years. The awards are for students wishing to enroll for the first time in a full-time traditional residential student program at William Jewell College following graduation from the Crossroads Preparatory Academy of Kansas City.

To qualify for the selection process you must:
Be a Crossroads Academy students must be admitted for full-time study at William Jewell College.
Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Jewell’s FAFSA code is 002524.
Graduate with a cumulative GPA in core academic coursework of 3.0 on the high school transcript.

Eligibility:
A) All Missouri High School Seniors are eligible.
Ineligibility:
Part-time casino employees that are high school seniors working less than 32 hours per week are eligible. Children (Missouri high school seniors) of Missouri casino employees are eligible for the Project 21 Scholarships, provided the student is not a child of a Missouri Gaming Association officer or a Missouri Project 21 Executive Committee member. Prior winners of Project 21 Scholarships are not eligible.

NSF S-Stem Biology Scholars Program (KCKCC)

$15000 Scholarship

Eligibility:
Be U.S. citizens, nationals, legal permanent residents, or refugee aliens.
Major in the biology pathway, AS, or AGS (an Associate degree with a biology emphasis).
Have financial need as determined by the FAFSA and KCKCC financial aid department (Pell Grant eligible). Completion of the 2024-2025 FAFSA is required (see below).
Demonstrate academic talent or potential in which the selection committee will take a holistic view of each student candidate.
Maintain full-time status (minimum 12 credit hours per semester) and at least a 2.0 GPA while at KCKCC
Agree to participate in an asset-based mentoring program and participate in scholarship program activities.

9th Grade College Savings Match Program

Are you a high school student looking to go to college? We offer a college saving program for 9th-grade students and up to $50,000 in scholarship funds for 11th-grade students.
Deadline:
THE 2024 TRADITIONAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION WINDOW IS JANUARY 9, 2024, THROUGH FEBRUARY 23, 2024.
Program offers:
Up to $50,000 paid directly to the college over the course of up to six years
Once awarded, the scholar can enroll full-time the fall semester following on-time high school graduation
Access to Scholar Support Resources to assist with needs that may arise during college or the job search process.
Eligibility:
Be a current 11th grader during the application cycle;
Be home-schooled or attend a public, charter, or private high school in the following six counties: Cass, Clay, Jackson and Platte (MO) or Johnson and Wyandotte (KS);
Have at least a 2.5 cumulative high school unweighted GPA (five semesters from 9th grade to the fall semester of 11th grade) or at least a 16 on the ACT or at least an 800 on the SAT); and
Be considered low- or modest-income (FASFA Estimated Family Contribution/Student Aid Index of 12,000 or less)

Kona Ice Scholarship
* KC Kona Ice is pleased to announce the availability of a $1,000 scholarship for the third consecutive year. We are seeking a student who harbors aspirations of initiating their own small business and recognizes the significance of giving back to their community.
