The Career Center at Cromwell High School offers opportunities for students to extend their learning beyond the traditional classroom setting. Students interested in discovering and exploring their career interests or gaining work experience can come to the Career Center for help with employment applications, resumes, interviewing skills and much more. The Career Center also coordinates a wide range of career-related activities and events including:

• Resume Writing, Cover Letters & Interviewing Skills

• Hospital career days

• Career Fair and Career Connections Classes

• Professional networking opportunities

• Personality Assessments & Skill Builder

The Cromwell High School Career Center is located next to the School Library & Media Center office and features a seminar-style classroom perfect for workshops and small group sessions. Students can meet with military and college representatives for guidance on post-secondary opportunities, and the Career Center also hosts our professional Career Speaker Series, giving students the chance to learn directly from experts in a variety of fields. It’s the go-to place for exploring careers, gaining real-world insights, and planning your next steps after high school. 

The Cromwell High School Career Center has worked to align CHS elective course offerings with nationally recognized Career Clusters, as well as learning opportunities available within the school and the greater Cromwell community. This Career Pathways resource is designed to help students explore courses connected to their interests, strengths, and future career goals. It includes an overview of each Career Cluster, sample college majors and career options, recommended CHS electives, related clubs and activities, community connections, and key school contacts to support students as they plan meaningful academic and career pathways both inside and beyond the classroom.
