Here are some discussion points:
Introduction
Field/Career that you'll be talking with students about.
What other types of careers are available in your field?
What do you do?
What type of education do you need to get into your position?
What do you like about your career?
What challenges do you face?
What are the opportunities for advancement?
Outlook for the career in the future?
Tips: Engage and interact with the students. Bring along items to show the students what you do. Play a game to help them understand your career. Tell them an interesting story from your career. Try to spend 15 of the 35 minutes in a hand-activity or game that helps the students learn by doing.
