ComCat: The Advanced National Seismic System (ANSS) Comprehensive Earthquake Catalog (ComCat) contains earthquake source parameters (e.g., hypocenters, magnitudes, phase picks and amplitudes) and other products (e.g., moment tensor solutions, macroseismic information, tectonic summaries, maps) produced by contributing seismic networks. ComCat is a repository of data from participating seismic networks. For significant earthquakes, the National Earthquake Information Center (NEIC) prepares a summary of the tectonic setting, nearby fault systems, and historical seismicity.
IRIS: a consortium of over 100 U.S. universities dedicated to the operation of science facilities for the acquisition, management, and distribution of seismological data. IRIS programs contribute to scholarly research, education, earthquake hazard mitigation, and verification of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty. IRIS supports the Global Seismographic Network. IRIS's Education and Public Outreach Program provides resources for educators and the general public to advance awareness and understanding of seismology and earth science. IRIS Website
