One Stop Shop for CSD#14 Teachers

What is the make-up policy for when students are in pull-out classes?

Students should not be punished for being pulled out for gifted/talented services. Students should not have to make up missed work while being pulled for gifted and talented. An alternative could include averaging fewer grades for these students. Teachers could provide a quick summary of what was missed, or if the class is still working on the activity when students return, provide them with a shortened version or alternative activity.

Teachers should avoid giving tests when students are in gifted and talented classes.
