Creighton Gifted and Talented (CGaT)
The Creighton Gifted and Talented (CGaT) Program provides identified gifted and talented students with 45 minutes of weekly pull-out instruction led by a highly qualified gifted teacher. During these sessions, students engage in enriching, rigorous learning experiences designed to extend their thinking, foster creativity, and challenge them beyond the core classroom curriculum.
Gifted Student Definition:
“Gifted pupil” means any child who is of lawful age, who due to superior intellect or advanced learning ability (as measured by approved tests and identification strategies) or both needs appropriate services and supports to achieve levels commensurate with the child’s intellect and ability. ”Gifted pupil” means any student who scores 97% and above on state approved tests and identification strategies.
