This approach to collection really works. It is really good and will be a valuable resource.  Michael's knowledge of the School Fee Collection process is amazing.  I highly recommend this book for the practical advice and simple to follow strategies that he uses in the fee collection process. The documentation handed out at his Workshops is a continual reference guide and I use it on many occasions. The Schools Finance Board has built its Debt Collection Policy based on Michael's tips and strategies.  Michael's approach is very straightforward and easy to follow and it "just makes sense", but to see it all there in front of you saves you so much time as you are not reinventing the wheel on every occasion.

Always Be The Good Guy

Being the good guy and blaming an external force works beautifully. You are always the understanding, helpful person that parents can talk to and you will run interference for them if payments are made on a regular basis and contact is kept with the college.
