A Note on Preparation

Before reviewing the details below, we would like to remind all candidates of the importance of the pre-interview task. It is a fundamental expectation that you have thoroughly read the brief and followed the submission instructions provided in our previous correspondence. Attention to detail is a vital component of the role here, and we expect this to be reflected in your preparation and your final submission.

Part 1: The Teaching Task (Morning)

The first stage of the day involves a 20-minute lesson. You have the autonomy to choose both the subject and the year group ( Year 5/6 or Year 3/4)  for this session. The observation panel will consist of:

• James Handley – Executive Headteacher

• Natlie Doughty – Head of School at Peak Dale 

Submission Requirements

Please contact the Head of School by Wednesday 20th at 9:00AM  to confirm:

• Your chosen Year Group.

• The Learning Objective for your 20-minute session.

• Any specific Resources or IT requirements you may have.

Note: Please ensure you bring four physical copies of your lesson plan for the interview panel. Your plan should clearly demonstrate how you intend to support the specific needs of the learners in your chosen group.
