Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you.
Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. John 14:27
God sees you, knows you, and loves you deeply. (1 John 4:9-11)
In the Bible, Jesus models how important it is to do things that restore our personal wellness. He would spend time alone in prayer, practice gratitude, cultivate relationships, and take time to rest. As Christians, we are called to live like Christ, which includes taking care of the minds and bodies God blessed us with. In this Wellness Center, we invite you to learn new ways to honor God by prioritizing your spiritual, mental, social-emotional, and physical wellbeing.
By God's grace, we are able to experience His joy as we navigate life's ups and downs (James 1:2-4). Sometimes, we need to be intentional about building rhythms in our lives to help keep us in balance, and live like Christ. From prayer and scripture to deep breathing and healthy movement, it is important to introduce a rhythm of activities into our lives that help us cope with daily stress. Visit Coping Skills Central for ideas of activities to help manage daily stress.
