Scheduling Spaces

Use of the PAUS Library

Students are welcome to use the library for book browsing, checkout, and computer use. During the school day, students from ELA classes can ask their teacher for a pass to the library (3 students per class at a time). If Ms. Bees is not immediately available, please use the paper checkout system (and write clearly!) After school, students can also visit from 2:55 - 3:15PM. Desktop computers in the library may be used throughout the day by supervised students as well as teachers.

Teachers can also use the library space to hold classes. Since this space is frequently used by interventionists, a teacher would need to book time for class lessons. Examples of lessons would be: library welcome and orientation, book talks, book buffet, literary celebrations around a theme, research unit launch or an author visit.

Please contact Ms. Bees to schedule the use of the library.

Booking Other Learning Spaces

Email Ms. Bees to request using one of the school learning spaces (library, iLab, or Design Lab).

iLab - located within the library, is a large room with green screen & whiteboard walls. It is used primarily for video/film production or technology projects.

Design Lab - located on the ground floor across from the gym. This unique space houses many manipulative tools and is primarily used to promote innovative, hands-on, design projects. The Design Lab also has a laser cutter (only to be used by the teacher after proper training.)
